Terms of Service

Welcome to Justy. By downloading, installing, or using the Justy mobile application (“App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

1. About Justy

Justy is a personal habit-tracking application designed to help users track money they choose not to spend. Justy is not a financial institution. It does not connect to bank accounts, process payments, hold real money, or provide financial advice.

The amounts you enter in Justy are self-reported figures for personal tracking purposes only. They do not represent actual bank balances, deposits, or financial instruments of any kind.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

3. Account Registration

You may create an account using your email address, Apple Sign-In, or Google Sign-In. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You agree to provide accurate information during registration and to keep your account information up to date.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App’s systems or other users’ data
• Interfere with or disrupt the App’s functionality
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use automated means to access or interact with the App
• Submit false, misleading, or harmful content through any feature of the App

5. Virtual Jars and Transactions

All “jars,” “transactions,” “balances,” and related features within the App are virtual tracking tools. They represent your personal record of spending decisions and do not constitute actual financial accounts, deposits, or obligations.

Justy does not guarantee the accuracy of exchange rates displayed in the App. Exchange rates are provided for informational and tracking purposes only and should not be relied upon for actual financial transactions.

6. Data and Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

7. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time through the App’s Settings. Upon deletion:

• Your account and all associated data will be permanently removed from our servers within 30 days
• This action cannot be undone
• Any data stored locally on your device may persist until you uninstall the App

8. Service Availability

We strive to keep Justy available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The App may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App or any part of it at any time, with or without notice.

9. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, content, and branding, is owned by Justy and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App without our prior written consent.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Justy does not provide financial advice. Any decisions you make based on information displayed in the App are your sole responsibility.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Justy and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the App.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Effective Date” at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
