Justy (“we,” “our,” or “the App”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.
1. Information We Collect
Information You Provide
- Email address — Used for account authentication and password recovery.
- Display name — Used to personalize your experience within the App.
- Financial tracking data — Transaction amounts, jar names, currency codes, categories, justifications, and withdrawal intents that you manually enter. This data represents your self-reported tracking records, not actual bank account information.
Information Collected Automatically
- Usage data — App opens, session duration, and feature usage. This helps us understand how the App is used and improve the experience. You can opt out of this in Settings.
- Diagnostic data — Device model, operating system version, and app version. Used to diagnose issues and ensure compatibility.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide the App’s functionality — Storing your jars, transactions, and settings so they sync across sessions and devices.
- Improve the App — Analyzing usage and diagnostic data, including occasional error reports tied to your account, to identify popular features, fix bugs, and improve compatibility across devices. This data is associated with your account so we can correlate issues across your sessions. It is never shared with third parties or used for advertising.
- Provide support — Responding to your questions or issues if you contact us.
We do not use your information to:
- Sell data to third parties
- Display advertisements
- Build advertising profiles
- Track you across other apps or websites
3. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on servers provided by Supabase, a cloud infrastructure provider. Supabase uses industry-standard security practices including:
- Encryption in transit (TLS)
- Encryption at rest
- Row-Level Security (RLS) policies that ensure you can only access your own data
Your data is also stored locally on your device using Apple’s SwiftData framework for offline access.
4. Authentication Providers
Depending on how you sign in, certain information is shared with authentication providers:
- Apple Sign-In — Apple provides us with a unique identifier and, optionally, your email address (which you may choose to hide). We do not receive your Apple ID password.
- Google Sign-In — Google provides us with your name and email address. We do not receive your Google account password.
- Email/Password — Your password is securely hashed and stored by Supabase. We never store or have access to your plaintext password.
5. Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party services:

We do not use any third-party analytics SDKs, advertising frameworks, or tracking services. All analytics are first-party and processed on our own infrastructure.
6. Data Retention
- Your data is retained for as long as your account is active.
- When you delete your account, all associated data is permanently removed from our servers within 30 days.
- Local data on your device persists until you uninstall the App.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your data — View all data stored in the App at any time.
- Delete your data — Delete your account and all associated data through Settings > Delete Account.
- Opt out of analytics — Disable usage data collection in Settings > Privacy > Share Usage Data.
- Export your data — Contact us at support@tryjusty.com to request a copy of your data.
8. Children’s Privacy
Justy does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will promptly delete that information.
9. International Data Transfers
Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. By using the App, you consent to the transfer of your information to countries that may have different data protection laws than your country of residence.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Effective Date” at the top of this page and notify you through the App if the changes are material.
